Book Display Discontinued in Sterling System

Immediate Distribution - To All Sterling Clients:
Please be advised that the BRUT Book Feed display will
no longer be available to Sterling Service Bureau Subscribers
effective Monday, August 1, 2005. The
book quote display marked in the Sterling system with
the “BRB” indicator will not be available
for viewing.
This system change is a direct result of the consolidation
between the NASDAQ and BRUT operations after the merger
of the two entities. The BRUT Book display will only
be available for subscribers of the Total View service
of the NASDAQ data feed, subject to applicable display
fees. The Total View service is presently not offered
to Sterling Service Bureau subscribers.
Note that the BRUT ECN order execution destination
and BRUT Level II quote window will not be affected
by this change. The top-of-the-book quote display will
continue to be viewable in Level II display under the
MPID = BRUT.
